Page Turner here.
I really want to see a movie about emotions. That's right, a movie about little people resembling emotions that take a great trip through a girl's brain. I think it looks so cool! It's about five emotions: Joy, Disgust, Anger, Fear, and Sadness. Nobody knows Sadness's purpose, but Joy works with everyone to make sure that Riley is happy and positive. But one day, Sadness touches one of Riley's memories, and through a serious of events, Joy and Sadness get lost and Disgust, Anger, and Fear are left to cope on their own. Possible Spoiler Alert. The movie is meant to teach us that happiness isn't what we're after. This world says, "You've got to be happy or you'll be miserable!" or "Just make Yourself Happy!" That means getting stuff, getting friends, traveling, spending, etc, etc. Not that this is wrong, but the world says that happiness is what you need for joy. The movie Inside Out shows that happiness is different than joy and that sadness can increase our joy. I believe that God gives us hardships for our good, and this movie, (although not bringing in the Bible) goes over this too. So get ready to watch Inside Out, and prep your emotions for a great movie!Or Vice Versa. :)
