Hi, Page Turner here! I'm back from an Easter weekend and I'm back into Mundane Mondays, singing the Mama's and the Papa's, "Monday, Monday." Mondays can be pretty rough. Back from the weekend of fun and relaxation (and homework) to a busy school week of tests and quizzes or a workweek of, well, work. God's always with us--even through Mundane Mondays. He doesn't stop being God, just because Easter is over! He is still the same, and the joy is still the same. I advise trusting in God everyday---advice I need to heed. God's always going to be there for us, even on those bummer days where literally everything goes wrong. Hope you have a good day, and trust in God. Page Turner, over and out.

"I've got no strings to hold me down, to make me fret, to make me frown!" sang little Pinocchio as he danced glibly around the stage, string-less and worry-less, as the other puppets look sadly on, connected by strings like true marionettes. Maybe you recognize this scene from the 1945 Disney Pinocchio movie. For some reason, that made me think about our strings. Day 21

  Hey, Page Turner here! Back for day 20 in my countdown to Valentine's Day. There is a lot of romance movies out there. One of my personal favorites is Princess Bride. ( spoiler alerts ahead)  I mean, come on. " My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." It doesn't get much better than that, does it?! Princess Bride is a humorous romance complete with a kidnapped princess, shrieking eels, giants, sword fights, Miracle Max, betrayal, and a dashing hero. The best part is the entire story is read by a grandpa to his sick grandchild, a young kid with a cynical sense of humor and boyish distaste for romance. The movie follows the love story of Buttercup and Wesley, two peasants who are madly in love. Their story is cut short when Wesley dies at the hand of the Dread Pirate Robertson, and Buttercup is given to the prince to marry.
